Employer List
G-Track for Windows is capable of handling multiple employers,
and is shipped without any entered in the database, so you will need to
define a list of at least one Employer before you can do anything else.
To add employers, select "Utilities" from the main menu, and the "Utilities"
menu will appear. Select "Employer List", and the "Employer" screen will
appear. To add an Employer, select "New", type the name of the Employer,
and select "Add".
Seniority List
Included with the program files is a sample Seniority list, called
"SENIOR.TXT". The second process when running the G-Track for Windows
demo is to load this file. Place the demo disk labelled "Disk 3 of 3" in
the drive, select "Membership List" from the main menu, and the "Membership"
menu will appear. Select "New Seniority List". Select the appropriate
Employer from the list, and then select the update button. The file will
be imported, and you will be ready to test G-Track for Windows. It may
be useful for you to print out this sample list for future reference when
trying out other features of G-Track for Windows.
To print the list, select "Membership List" from the main menu, and
the "Membership" menu will appear. Select "Employment Information" to bring
up the "Member Criteria" screen for editing/viewing/printing the Seniority
list. Select the "Print" button at the bottom of the screen to activate
the "Print Dialog Screen". To view the list on screen, select "Preview",
or to print the list, select "Printer".
